- Jessie is in Burkina Faso on a Fulbright fellowship. She is doing dissertation research for her PhD in Sociology at the University of Colorado Boulder. She is studying the social dimensions of Bt cotton production - one of the only GMO crops currently being grown in Africa. Jessie has a BA in documentary film production and international relations from USC, and an MA in sustainable development from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva, Switzerland. She was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Mali from 2007 to 2009, where she worked with cotton farmers in the Sikasso region.

The photo of the 4 young girls was delightful. And the 2 girls on the right were especially beautiful. This is the first chance I have had to look at your blogspot and hope to take time again in the future to see more of your experience. Thank your Dad for the connection between us!
Oops - not your Dad - meant Vern and Diane - one is a cousin or some relative....right.
